Know anyone coming up to London soon?

I need to get an Oly Zuiko 7-14mm camera lenses. Far too expensive here (a throat-cutting 25% premium). Would appreciate it if you have a contact. Cheers.

Yeah... The cheapest I see is in US w/o shipping... but once I included the shipping, same price as London's.

Hi, just check on the lens prices on ebay as well as a local site. It sits on the range of S$1100 to about S$1500. How much is it in pound incl VAT? I hope I am looking at the right item? The fish eye lens?

The latest official Oly price list has it at $2530(http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=171706). I am sure Cathay can give a good price. They quote 2.6+ as you may not have bought there before.
You sure John 3:16 selling for $2.1k?

Yeah, that's what John 3:16 quoted but may need to wait for a while. Cathay usually quote higher than usual over the phone. Yeah I did check clubsnap too. haha! how?

Why dun i check how much it would cost to ship over to you with insurance and see if you are willing to pay? I bet the cost would be covered by the lower lens price.

No need. I have a friend who's coming over to London on 6 July. She has agreed to bring the lens if it's purchased by then. So really need your help to see if John 3:16 can get it for 2.1k or if some other shops can offer close to that price. Anyway a 100GB portable hard disk will be very useful if you can help me get that as well. One that can store memory and download pics from camera WHILE ON THE GO will be extremely good.
WX, have you given me the address of the shop selling your SLR and lenses?
